MARINA ILJUSINA

Art, for me, begins where words fall silent.
My practice explores memory, vulnerability, inner transformation and the fragile boundary between what is hidden and what becomes visible. Working across painting, mixed media, relief and sculpture, I build tactile surfaces in which faces, material traces and thread-like lines carry emotional states that cannot be spoken directly.
Each work becomes a space of tension and stillness — a place where silence takes form, memory leaves a physical trace, and the inner world emerges into view.
